C-3006

General Information:

C-3006 H2S Scavenger tower cleaner is a proprietary blend used to scavenge H2S while cleaning precipitated solids from previous H2S Scavengers used within the treating system. The C-3006 is a none-mechanical cleaner that is applied in the same manor as a traditional scavenger however has the properties of cleaning while scavenging H2S. The C-3006 is an extreme performance product designed for very low retention time, high H2S concentration systems. The product has been developed for both scavenging and cleaning, thus producing a unique product with diverse application possibilities. Our C-3006 is water soluble and can be diluted with methanol, glycol’s or water.

The C-3005 is used in the scavenging of H2S from gas and fluid systems. The treatment rates for the scavenging of H2S from gas streams is in the 0.4 to 6.50 liters per part per million of H2S per MMSCF of gas produced, depending on the volumes of solids that have to be removed. The spent solutions are generally water soluble, however must be disposed of through an EPA approved hazardous site.
Our C-3006 was developed for the purpose of scavenging H2S from gas streams and is selective to H2S, other acid gas’s will not be affected by the scavenger, and therefore a more efficient treatment rate can be attained. The formulation as well as the blending process of this product is a patented process and therefore can not be disclosed at this time.

C-3006 has free formaldehyde however is not susceptible to solids precipitation and is shipped as a regulated product under the transportation of dangerous goods classifications. As with all regulated products some safety precautions should be taken when handling and transferring of the product.
